Our Horses
Vern breeds, raises, and trains registered American Quarter horses and American Paint horses. This is a favorite passion of his, and his expertise shows in the quality of our stock.

From September to April, Vern devotes a considerable amount of time riding with guests. Some of them come specifically to purchase a horse, and spend two to five days riding a variety of mounts which Vern has selected for them. Others come to learn horsemanship skills on gentle stock, or to solve persistent problems with their older horses.

Our modern and spacious indoor riding arena gives our guests the opportunity to ride year-round, regardless of out-door weather conditions. It is shown below with the Yellowstone River in the foreground. Much of our training occurs in the safety and comfort of this facility.

Our comprehensive horse training program extends from starting foals and weanlings to "restarting" older horses lacking a solid foundation. Click here for more about it.
